Posh Paws began in October 2023 with the opening of our first salon in Eccleshall, Staffordshire. Since day one, our mission has been to provide a professional, caring pet grooming experience that delights both dogs and their owners.

Founded by David and Tim Charlton, and led daily by David, Posh Paws is built on a passion for animals and a commitment to excellence. Our salons feature open-plan layouts that create a calming atmosphere for pets, offering visual stimulation while allowing customers to watch the care and attention their pets receive.
We believe modern pet grooming demands the best technology. Every Posh Paws salon is equipped with state-of-the-art grooming equipment, advanced online booking systems, and a smart loyalty programme to enhance convenience and customer satisfaction. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas, our expert groomers are ready to care for all breeds and coat types.

In July 2024, we expanded by acquiring and refurbishing a salon in Stone, Staffordshire, turning it into a stylish boutique grooming destination. By March 2025, we proudly opened our third location in Birches Head, Stoke, a welcoming salon that quickly became a community favourite.

In November 2025 we opened our fourth site, conveniently located in the beautiful town of Newcastle under Lyme. This salon was an empty shell and was renovated into a beautiful large boutique salon with lots of space. With a significant space at the rear we have developed a quiet zone for cat grooming, as well as an area for customers to use self service baths, ideal for those winter nights where you dread having to clean up the dirt after the dog has been in the bath!
At Posh Paws, pet health and wellbeing are at the core of our services. Every grooming session includes a thorough health check of your pet’s ears, teeth, coat, and hygiene areas, ensuring your furry friend looks, feels, and smells their best.
